Don’t worry about this getting to our heads. The recall news isn’t over by any stretch, and we see this as a great way to get the word out about the recall to other readers.

I actually love you. It is a heck of a job to maintain a web site and put up with chats.
This web site is a life line in this crisis and so well done and easy to use.

May 2nd, 2007 at 10:53 am
Since this whole recall business started, I have visited several different blogs but I always come back to itchmo. You are the first site I check for all the latest news. Thank you!
This may have already been asked or is on the site somewhere but where does the name “itchmo” come from?
ITCHMO ADMIN: Thanks for the kind words. “Itchmo” is furbaby speak for “Itch me more”.
May 2nd, 2007 at 10:54 am
You deserve this and so much more!
May 2nd, 2007 at 11:34 am

Congratulations!!!
You deserve this! I and others have been checking your site for the food recall updates every day, actually few times a day. I even posted your web site to many, many Yahoo Group Lists to get the word out with the recalls. I know your hard work has saved many lives.
I fell in love with Itchmo and came to trust you very much.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, ITCHMO!!!!
May 2nd, 2007 at 12:11 pm

I voted and hope you win!

I just watched cnn newsroom, with Heidi Collins. She had a woman on with her that assured her the tainted chicken would not hurt anyone, it wasn’t being recalled because it wasn’t a threat to humans as it had been to the FIFTEEN pets that had died!!!! FIFTEEN PETS!!! Good heavens! this was a MID DAY CNN REPORT to the whole nation!! And they are still either stupid or plain lying!!! I cannot find out how to contact them by phone!!!
We were waiting for prime time coverage, and they are still saying 15 pets died! I can’t believe it. And they said ONLY the hogs and chicken were tainted. I KNOW I SAW FDA inspection reports of finding melamine in other foods, from noodles to nutrition bars. with NUMBERS STATED. I can’t find that in my notes. I evidently didn’t copy it, DOES ANYONE KNOW where I can find that again. It was an FDA site I believe. I found it from ITCHMO”S link. Where is that now???

Well deserved nomination!
I registered, I did try ~ but am unable to vote (as well as see past page 1 of votes) due to my browser’s antiquated flash capacity. :(
Itchmo, just know that you have my vote even tho it isn’t showing on the official count.
Thank you for all you have done,
~Martha~

We do like you! We really really do like you!
I’d never heard of Itchmo until I was reading Straydog.org and one of their dogs had died from kidney failure after eating tainted food - they had several others in the hospital as well - and they mentioned this website. I’ve check it everyday since, in addition to getting the email alerts.
A job so well done (which is an understatement).

You’re site has been added to my daily must-visit routine and will stay there after the recall is ancient history. I’m sure many others feel the same way.
It couldn’t go to a better site. If I ever manage to update my own site I’m adding a link there to vote for you as well.
May 2nd, 2007 at 1:12 pm
Got my VOTE!!!
You deserve much more!!!
May 2nd, 2007 at 1:20 pm
Yes, Itchmo, congratulations on a job well done. Please don’t stop, we still need you! We obviously cannot depend on the media. See my post a few minutes ago. You have saved many lives, and it isn’t over. Bless you

Hey help me out, I have to decide between Pork Chops Melamine, the Kidney Failure Roast Chicken or the Kervorkian Casserole this evening for our guests.
May 2nd, 2007 at 1:23 pm
I tell everyone I know about this site tired of them thinking all is right with the food industry and oly a few pet foods were recalled in March end of story. I like to direct them here for a reality check. Thanks for you all y ou do and have done, this place lets me know I am not alone in my fear and worry about my 2 affected cats. I will be voting. Great job.

Should we barbecue or sautéed?
May 2nd, 2007 at 2:04 pm
Steve, don’t forget the spinach salad.
May 2nd, 2007 at 2:07 pm
I registered a couple hours ago, but can’t vote — it keeps saying that feature is unavailable. However, I’ll persist because you deserve all the votes you can get.
Steve, your menu ideas are hilarious. Maybe you’ll have to serve them a lonely baked potato (as long as it’s locally grown, of course).
There’s a fabulous local dairy near me that makes its own brie-type cheese … melted, with small chunks of home-baked bread … yummmm.
Let me take you shopping this afternoon. We’ll go to the local organic farmer’s lovely little store stuffed with the most beautiful vegetables of all kinds. They sell that local cheese too.

I just voted for you Itchmo! Since finding this site, I have been here daily to get the latest information on this recall. Seems that we can all get the info we need faster here than anywhere. If I were to depend on other media sources rather than my computer, I would still be in the dark. THANK YOU for all you hard work and dedication!
