TV Vet Completes 150 Mile Row In Giant Dog Bowl For Charity
A TV vet from the UK has completed his challenge of sailing down the Thames in a giant dog bowl. Joe Inglis did the 150 mile row to raise money for the Hearing Dogs For Deaf People charity.
Inglis and his dog, Jack, began the trip on July 3, and they finished 9 days later. The bowl was named The Mutty Bark and was made from an old cattle drinking trough.
Inglis said that it definitely was a challenge of rowing in a round bowl. He was inspired for a brief second to cross the channel, but after nine days of being in the Mutty Bark, he decided against it.
