Any team that would allow this creep to play for them should be boycotted, he does not deserve to be allowed to collect a huge salary after only a token sentence served for a horrible crime. Letting him do this only proves there are no real consequences for criminal behavior.

Wouldn’t it be kind of Karmic Justice to have Vick caged like his own dogs were in a really tough prison where he would have to fight for his own survival?

What I have noticed is even with all his words of “I am sorry for all the people who this has hurt”. He has never said he was sorry for all the dogs that were tortured and killed and all the suffering that went on. This guy has not become a humane person and apparently will NEVER BE. And with that said, Whatever bad things happen in prison, he will deserve.

No matter what Michael Vick does, in the majority of the public’s eyes he will always be a convicted felon. If the NFL allows him to return to the football field, the commisioner should resign for allowing special treatment and ignoring their own rules. As far as I have seen, he is hardly remorseful for his actions or he would have taken the time to start volunteering at animal shelters and speaking out publicly against dog fighting NOT turning himself in to serve his sentence before it is even handed out. If he thinks he is fooling anyone, he is only fooling himself. He never planned to get caught and that is the bottom line. I hope the judge sends him to prison for the maximum term allowable and the NFL bans him for life. Even then, I don’t think he will have served nearly the amount of time he deserves.

I think that his attorney’s statement was WRONG. Vick didn’t admit diddly until the co-guys admitted their involvement. He has NO remorse. He is just looking out for his hide.
I sure hope that this Judge dosen’t read into his B.S. and gives Vick a lighter sentence for his trying to bam-boozle his actions!
I can’t wait till sentencing in December. I hope that the Judge doesn’t get
“soft”…..lets hope Vick’s muscles get this way (soft) and that he can’t carrry or kick a football when he gets out of the pokie!
What do you all speculate what time Vick will get? My guess is 3-5 years, and out for goody-goody behavior….

Sounds to me like MV is still looking out for his own interests ~ getting out in time for football. What a farce!!! I hope the judge gives him the maximum amount of time. I don’t believe this man has learned a thing.
