It’s funny how when you’re up everybody loves you. I doubt very seriously that if he had killed a person that he would have gotten this kind of grief. And, let’s take a moment to exam that point. He DIDN’T kill a person did he? I’m not excusing the fact that what he did was wrong, but jail? PLEASE people. I’m not into sports at all but several weeks after Vick’s trial started another sports’ figure (a white man) was accused of doing the same thing. Why don’t I know HIS name? Because it lasted on the news all of 5 minutes and you never heard it again. You figure it out!

Um, correct me if I’m wrong but, I don’t think it was the football player who was involved in the dogfighting, it appears it was the “human being” if that’s what he is. He does not deserve any more mercy than what he afforded the dogs involved and they were abused, injured and murdered. After he serves his time he can go about proving to everybody that he has changed - just saying it does not make it so

The only thing Vick is sorry about is that he got caught being himself…which is a sociopath…and that he lost his money.

Bad news to Vick. You are the beast. People of good intent ,rich or poor do not harm animals.You deserved to be put in a pit with six tigers.Then you will not be the beast, You will be dealing with the beasts.They will judge you for what you are. From worthless…………..to gone. I have no problems in returning justice to what is evil and cruel.World is a better place with out monsters in it.

Not a single dollar he’s earned except to help people? So he’s not going to buy his own food or anything? His friends are going to feed and clothe him while he gives all his money to charity? Maybe he should try making remotely feasible promises. Jerk.

And do dogs count as people? Maybe he should spend some money helping dogs. He is pathetic.

He tried to portray himself as a wonderful, stand-upish football player but behind the scenes he was doing to me what he did. Anyone that does this to an animal has got an evil sick mind and I dont believe its fixable. Its all about the fact that he got caught. If he had not been caught, he would been doing all of that to this day and we all know it. Its in his blood to act that way and do those things, you dont just get rid of it overnight because you’re going to jail. Was there anything in the sentence about him never being allowed to own another pet in his lifetime?

Never a word about the poor dogs. All about him. I bet he’s changed. He would probably do it again given the chance. He needs to suffer just like the dogs did. He thinks he has it so bad he should have to serve more time than what he got. If he has changed he would donate or help animals instaed all he’s worried about is more me. He will never be looked at the same again. He’s done!!

Maybe if he could actually speak the phrase “I am so sorry to the dogs I killed and those whose life I made a hell” we might believe he was starting to understand what his crime is about.

yeah, until i knew MV the dog fighter, i knew MV the football player. he had talent and some flash, but i think he was overrated as a QB. his lack of production was blamed on the rest of the team (hmmmm) and this is the same football player who flipped off his home field fans . . . . kinda reminds me of MV the dog fighter. not taking responsibility, whining and acting like an ass.
