This jerk [Vick] is sick. I am appalled that the the football leagues condone this disgusting behavior in their players. Please don’t insult my intelligence - Sick Vick KNEW what his property was being used for.

Nobody could possibly believe that Vick is innocent or unaware and he should not get away with this barbaric activity.

We need to start sending the message that this type of horiffic cruelty is simply not acceptable in this society. One of the best ways to do that in this instance, is to hit them in the pocketbook. Put pressure on the NFL and Vicks’ team by contacting the sponsors — Tell them in no uncertain terms that their products will be boycotted due to their support of this behavior. Then, boycott. Tell your friends and family to do the same.

Is it Nike, that is made in China, where workers are paid $1.50 a day ? If it is, that company doesn’t have morals. So a morle-less spokesperson would suit them. IMHO

I totally agree! and wasn’t it less than a month ago that Nike continured their contract with Vick saying there was no concrete evidence of him having done something wrong.

Vick is nothing but trash. The NFL should boot his butt out of the league. But they won’t. They’ll just throw more money at him. The team is getting a ton of attention. Even though it’s negative, attention brings in the bucks.

If anyone’s interested, here’s a link to a PDF of the detailed complaint recently filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in order to take possession of the 53 poor, doomed dogs that were seized by local authorities early on.

What happened to personal responsibility? Let’s say Vicks is telling the truth about not being involved and not knowing what was going on. What is he? Deaf, dumb and blind? I’m getting tired of this stupid Ken Lay/Enron defense that lawyers are providing for their clients. He owns the property and he is responsible for what happens on that property. There is no way on earth he could live on that property and not ’see’ all that stuff and hear those dogs. End result - he was there, he was involved, he is guilty and it doesn’t take a lot of brains for someone to figure this out. Oh yeah - that means we have to add ’stupid’ to his disability list because he apparently thinks the rest of us are dumb enough to believe his claims. I also love the way he throws the blame on ‘family’ members. How nice a relative is that?
