Woman Reunited With Dog After Offering Florida Vacation Reward
More than two weeks ago Susan Roberti’s dog went missing.
Mikey, a 15-year-old Yorkie, disappeared from the front yard, and Roberti put up over 3,000 flyers around the neighborhood asking if anyone had seen Mikey. As a reward, she offered up her annual vacation to Orlando for bringing her beloved Mikey back.
Yesterday, Roberti received two phone calls from people saying that they saw Mikey running around in the neighborhood.
One person was able to grab Mikey while another took a poster down to see if he was the same dog.
A scan of Mikey’s microchip confirmed that the Yorkie was truly Mikey.
Roberti is extremely happy that Mikey is back home safe and sound. The only dilemma is how she will split the reward because there were three people that helped return Mikey.

I’m glad she got her dog back but it still floors me that people will accept rewards for doing the right thing. Says a lot about American morals and none of it good.

I am glad the dog was reunited with his loving guardian…but I find it diificult to believe a dog this small was running about on his own for two weeks.
I would be ashamed to take any reward for doing the right thing.

Glad there is a happy ending. I wouldn’t want to take any reward such as what she had offered which, obviously, was done in desperation. If they really think they deserve a reward, then take some small amount of money and be satisified. But, should really refuse anything.

Take a reward? For doing what you SHOULD do? Crazy. What a materialistic society. Pathetic.
